But this trip isn’t about what we can take from the island.

It’s about what we can leave behind.

On December 17, Brake The Psychol Foundation will ride from Montego Bay to Negril — using movement, storytelling and community to support people on the island that has welcomed so many of us.

Why Reach Back?

For years, we’ve experienced Jamaica as visitors. We’ve enjoyed —

The beaches. The food.
The music. The people.
The hospitality.

But you can’t keep receiving from a place without eventually asking what you can give back.

Reach Back is Brake The Psychol Foundation’s effort to turn appreciation into action.

On December 17, we’re taking the road from Montego Bay to Negril — not simply to complete another ride, but to use the ride to bring attention, resources and support to a local Jamaican community organization.

The bicycle gets us there.

It’s my birthday.

And this year,
I don’t want anything.

I want to give something.

I’ve been fortunate enough to visit Jamaica over the years and experience what makes this island special — the people, the culture, the energy and the way this place has welcomed me every time I’ve returned.

So when we started thinking about where Brake The Psychol could go next, I didn’t want this to just become another destination.

I wanted there to be a reason.

December 17 is my birthday.

This year, instead of celebrating by simply coming back to Jamaica, I’m spending it on two wheels — riding from Montego Bay to Negril alongside people I love, using the day to bring attention and resources to people who call this island home.
